JON NELSON

Born and raised in New Jersey. Straight out of high school I received the opportunity to apprentice at a local tattoo shop. After working at this shop for a year it was time for a change. I then moved to Florida for the opportunity to receive another apprenticeship under a new mentor. After surviving an “old school” apprenticeship I ventured out on my own. Working for multiple shops in various locations I started to turn my dream into a career. I didn’t know if I would make money, be successful or waste my time. I just knew I wanted to tattoo. After years of experience in the industry I had aspirations of opening a shop of my own. Teaming up with my close friends this was made possible. With persistence and hard work Borrowed Time Tattoo was born.
