A calm room and a serious craft — how Borrowed Time became one of Fort Lauderdale's most-loved tattoo studios.
Borrowed Time Tattoo opened in 2015 with a simple idea: make the kind of place you'd actually want to spend a few hours getting tattooed. Tucked inside The Mill Lofts at 410 NW 1st Ave, the shop started with a single chair and a reputation built one piece at a time.
Years later, that one chair has become a roster of award-winning artists — each with their own specialty, from dark black & grey and blackwork to fine line, color realism, traditional, Japanese and cover-ups. What hasn't changed is the feeling of the room: friendly, unhurried, and clean, with a staff that treats first-timers and heavily-tattooed regulars exactly the same.
We're a custom shop first. Your tattoo is drawn for you and your body — not pulled off a wall — so what you leave with is one of one.
No ego, no rush. A relaxed, welcoming room where the nerves settle and the focus stays on doing the work right.
Fully licensed and insured, sterile single-use setups, and standards we hold on every piece, every time.
